ABOUT
An aquaculture farm developed in 1992, breeding South American Archipelago Blue Claw Shrimps in St.Lucia. SAAG:South American Archipelago Agriculture. A 13 acre oasis-7 ponds mapped in the southern point of St.Lucia, where the sea and river intersects, with a natural habitat of indigenous plants and trees. An ecological and sustainable environment for natural, healthy shrimps similar to its habitat-with tilapias and other marine shell crusteceans. Palton Shrimp Farm is in close proximity to the river-fresh clean water flowing into the sea-in walking distance. Natural Feed: seaweed on the shore-in abundance, after heavy rainfalls, green vegetations (bamboo trees, almond trees, coconut trees...) along the river that feeds crawfish, shrimps, and fish. The biodiversity of the farms includes, diverse species of trees, fruits and garden vegetables, wild grass, bugs, and birds.
